Winners and losers from the Queensland Maroons squad for State of Origin I

THE Queensland side to take the state into a new era without champions Cameron Smith John Tavares Jersey, Johnathan Thurston and Cooper Cronk has been named, with several new faces getting their chance to shine.
While the debutants are the obvious winners there are also some big losers out of the Maroons squad announcement, potentially ending the Origin careers of two or three massive names.
Foxsports. com. au has run the rule over the squad and given a verdict on the biggest winners and the unlucky losers.
In his first season as a starting player at NRL level, this 22-year-old has had a massive impact for the Titans http://www.islandersjerseyonline.com/cal-clutterbuck-jersey-c-1_9/, consistently making well over 100 running metres and close to 30 tackles.
His strong form has edged him ahead of the likes of Queensland incumbent Tim Glasby and his high energy play will be crucial coming off the bench.
The St George Illawarra halfback has had a superb start to 2018, putting up an irresistible case to succeed Cooper Cronk in the No. 7 jersey.
After moving from the Broncos Hunt still had plenty to prove with question marks hanging over his ability to game manage despite his obvious talent.
He’s answered those questions supremely for Paul McGregor’s side and will only have to overcome a corked thigh to take his place in the No Jaroslav Halak Jersey. 7 jersey.
The Broncos livewire finally got his shot at Origin level last year, wearing the No. 6 jersey in place of the injured Johnathan Thurston for the Maroons’ game one disaster before being replaced for game two Anthony Beauvillier Jersey.
It wasn’t a poor performance from Milford but he didn’t make a strong enough impact to be given another chance in the decider when Cameron Munster was brought in for his debut.
Munster took his chance with both hands and after a slow start to 2018 Milford once again finds himself on the outer and may have to wait for an injury before he gets another chance.
